It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you to EPIC 2026 – Evidence-based Practices in Intensive Care, to be held from 7–9 August at AIIMS Raipur. Organised by the Department of Anesthesiology & Critical Care, this conference brings together intensivists, anesthesiologists, and emergency physicians committed to advancing critical care through thoughtful, evidence-driven practice.

The theme of EPIC 2026 — “Grounded in Physiology, Guided by Evidence, Enabled by AI” — reflects the evolving landscape of modern intensive care. While technological innovations and artificial intelligence are rapidly transforming healthcare, the foundation of good critical care remains a deep understanding of physiology and the careful application of evidence to bedside decision-making.

EPIC 2026 aims to create a vibrant platform for academic exchange, meaningful discussions, and collaborative learning. The conference will feature engaging scientific sessions along with hands-on workshops on Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT) and Mechanical Ventilation, designed to translate current knowledge into practical skills for everyday clinical practice.

Beyond the scientific program, we hope this meeting will foster new ideas, collaborations, and friendships among colleagues who share a passion for improving outcomes in critically ill patients.
